Lead Java Developer Cardiff £60,000 Bonus This is one of the most exciting opportunities in Cardiff, working for the fastest growing software company in South Wales 2016 I am looking for a Lead Developer to be a senior member of the development team. The urgent need is for a Lead Java developer, someone capable of hands-on complex system product and applications development, and ideally someone wanting to progress into a Lead or Architect position. You'll be surrounded by smart, highly capable colleagues in a collaborative environment that encourages sharing knowledge and experience. You'll be as obsessed as they are about doing software engineering right the first time and ultimately delivering great solutions - following an agile approach with solid development practices. You will provide technical leadership to a team of 10 engineers to help deliver your vision. Key skills required: - A proven background in Software Engineering - Solid experience developing with Java, JEE, Spring, Hibernate - Unit Testing using tools such as JUnit and Mockito - Ability to design, code and test - Management or Lead experience - Exposure to Architecture would be a bonus This is an opportunity for someone to take the next step in their career and there will be a lot more opportunities over the next 12 months.
