Main Responsibilities ·Work as part of an agile development team, maintaining a high performance, high availability C++ application that is a core layer which, among other purposes, provides an interface between our applications and the HPCC big data platform ) ·Develop and maintain applications, web service solutions, management tools and batch processing services Skills & Experience ·Significant experience with C++ Object Oriented Development ·Good experience with writing Web Services ·Good experience with Relation Database Systems (MySQL / Sybase / MS SQL / Oracle) ·Good experience with Unix / Linux Operating System ·Significant experience in full lifecycle development process including design, development, testing and implementation of moderate to advanced complexity systems ·Candidate must be an energetic, self-motivated problem solver who works well in a team ·Requires a bachelor's degree in, Software Engineering, Computer Science or related field ·Ability to lead small to mid-size technical teams including strong organisational skills, attention to detail, management of multiple assignments at the same time.
