PURCHASE LEDGER CLERK SWANSEA IMMEDIATE START £7.20 - £10.00 PER HOUR Robert Half are currently recruiting for a temporary Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a large industrial company in Swansea. The role is an ongoing temporary contract guaranteed for 5 months, but expected to last longer, Key Responsibilities Creating and maintaining Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable records. Cost vendor creation and utilisation of "auto match" AP accounting software in line with documented procedures Process, code, record and verify supplier invoices Ensure invoices are correctly assigned to the budget holder for authorisation and are approved for payment and posting. Create the payment list, liaise with the sister business of the country of origin for verification/instructions. Check, reconcile and file supplier / customer statements Ensure credit notes are received for incorrect prices and returned goods Build good working relationships with the supplier base, resolve any purchase queries Allocate incoming funds received, reconcile accurately to related creditor accounts Process, reconcile and allocate approved employee MasterCard expenses Credit Checks Procurement Administration Experience Required Ideally you will have AAT or an equivalent bookkeeping qualification You must have Purchase ledger experience to be considered for the role, ideally in a high volume role, and good with Excel, Interested, please contact Emma Llewellyn today T: 02920 557300 E: Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
