Credit Control Clerk
The Role Robert Half are currently recruiting for an experienced Credit Controller on a temporary to permanent basis to start within the next few weeks. You will report in to the Finance Manager and will work in a small team in the Cardiff office. The role holder will manage sales ledger (external and internal) for the organisation. You will be responsible for the collection of all sales ledger debts. Overdues for the ledger to be managed to 15% on average and 0% of the ledger to be overdue for a credit limit review. Manage all collections activity - <15% overdues on ledger Coordinate all sales ledger queries to ensure a timely response and resolution Ensure minimum control standards are maintained Timely creation of credit limits for new accounts Ensure credit limits are reviewed at least every 6 months Collections activity reporting to internal stakeholders Your Profile Experience of collections / sales ledger role previously. Ideally within a manufacturing organisation and desirably experience of multi-national collections. Experience of working in a fast paced environment and ability to manage a number of different tasks simultaneously. Strong communication skills to facilitate resolution of sales ledger queries and the collection of debt on the ledger. Good negotiation skills in order to form agreements with customer re the collection of debt.
