National Council Members - MS Charity
Volunteer and join the fight to Stop MS
Our client is the UK's leading MS charity, their vision is to Stop MS. They have exciting volunteer opportunities for people who share their ambition, to work with them to create a world free from the effects of MS whilst ensuring they support the everyday lives of people affected by MS now.
Our client is looking for 3 people to join their Cymru national council.
Its national councils are a vital link between the MS community - including their local groups and members - and their board and senior staff.
They are one of the ways in which they ensure that the day-to-day experience of people affected by MS is heard and understood. They help them make sure that voices from across the different parts of the UK inform their UK-wide strategy.
Their volunteers are the backbone of the charity and you would be joining a highly committed team of everyday superheroes who are helping their vision become a reality.
Ultimately, what they strive for is to give hope to those affected by MS both for the present and the future. If you can listen with intent to understand, promote and facilitate communication and collaboration then they would love to hear from you.
They are committed to having diverse National Councils and would welcome applications that increase their diversity.
Please don't worry about where you live in Cymru. Whilst the roles are voluntary they pay expenses incurred. Having members of National Councils from different geographic areas is very important to the charity.
People affected from MS are at the heart of their decisions and work and they would welcome applications from people affected by MS.
The deadline for completed applications is 2 May (9am). Interviews are currently scheduled to take place on 22 and possibly the 23 May.

Not the role for you? The charity is also looking for new Trustees who will challenge them to be even better - as they fund ground-breaking research into the causes and treatment of MS whilst at the same time supporting people with MS here and now. See their website for more details.
Together they are strong enough to Stop MS
