Mind, the leading mental health charity is developing its work in Wales and we have some exciting new opportunities to help us shape the development and delivery of our work. Mind works across England and Wales employing approximately 280 staff, mainly at its offices in Stratford in East London and also at Mind Cymru's office in Cardiff. Mind Cymru's purpose is to lead Mind's work in Wales and ensure that our impact is strong in both nations. Mind has a federated structure of Local Mind delivery organisations, of which there are 20 local Minds in Wales.

Wales Programme Manager

£36,541 (inclusive of Cardiff weighting allowance)

35 hours per week, Permanent

Based in Cardiff

We are looking for a strong and engaging Manager who has drive, determination, proven leadership and project management skills to lead our projects portfolio in Wales. Excellent interpersonal skills with an affinity for the values and purpose of Mind Cymru are essential.

You will have responsibility for corporate management and operational programme management within Mind Cymru. You will support the Head of Operations to maximise the performance, impact and quality of current funded projects, and also lead in the implementation of new programmes. You will engage with corporate colleagues across Mind to develop effective systems and processes to enhance our work in Wales. You will have responsibility to scope and develop new strategic opportunities, partnerships and programmes in Wales, working closely with business development and the local Mind network in Wales.

Working closely with both internal and external stakeholders, you will further develop, strengthen and establish relationships with a wide range of organisations, including the voluntary, statutory and private sectors. They will vary in scale and scope but will all drive the strategic development of Mind Cymru.
