At Linc-Cymru, we put the people who use our services at the heart of our business, giving our tenants and residents a real say in the services we deliver. We engage with our staff, seek their feedback, and value their opinions and ideas. It's for these reasons that as technology, culture and working practices evolve, its essential that we adapt the way we communicate and work, and if we are honest….. we have some way to go!

We are looking for someone to lead our communications team to deliver a wide range of messages both internally and externally to drive brand awareness and engagement with those who use our services, support our services, or work within our services. With a proven track record in leading and driving change, you will inspire and motivate your team and the wider business to think in new ways and communicate using new tools.

With an interesting pipeline of new developments, you will join us at an exciting time where we have plenty of great things to shout about. In this role, you will work closely with senior managers and directors across the business to publicise what we do well, so you will need to demonstrate you have the ability to think, speak and deliver at a strategic level, as well as getting involved with the technical aspects of leading a small team.

You will have responsibility for brand management, marketing & design, photography and editing copy which is relevant for a variety of audiences as well as managing media relations including publicity and promotional material for our website and social media sites.

At Linc, our staff consist of a combination of office and field based staff for whom established methods of electronic communication are a part of their daily work, and our front line operational staff in our care homes who don't regularly use electronic communication technology as part of their role. Identifying new and innovative ways to communicate with these groups to ensure everyone receives key messages, and has the opportunity to have their voice heard, is really important for us.

This new post will play an essential and influential role moving forward, and will provide the successful applicant with an excellent opportunity to make a real difference for the people we support in the local community.

Sounds interesting…..  Check out the Job Description on our site, as well as our general on-line presence……. Do you think you are up for the challenge?!?
