We are currently recruiting for Support Workers to be part of the team at Coed Parc House. Coed Parc House is a brand new specialist residential service for young adults aged 18-64 with Autistic Spectrum Condition. We offer a unique environment for our young adults to develop and reach their full potential. Coed Parc House is situated in Cwmavan, approximately two and half miles from Port Talbot train station
The role will require you to support young adults in a range of activities on site at Coed Parc House as well as in the community, ensuring that all duties are carried out to a high standard. You will also be required to provide excellent team work and support to fellow team members and the registered manager. Coed Parc House will pride itself on being able to promote the rights of the young adults in our care, by providing outstanding therapeutic and personal care in their residences and in the wider community. In doing so you will be required to give written reports on a daily basis, and be involved in the development and implementations of placement and support plans as part of the key working groups.
Whilst it would be desirable for applicants to have their NVQ/QCF Level 2 / 3 in Health and Social Care it is not essential. Experience within the healthcare sector would also be desirable but not essential.
